Chris was born with a mark known as the "brand of beast," which consumes the fates of those around him. He lived as a mercenary, drifting across battlefields, until he met a girl named Minerva. She wore a white robe and carried a massive sword. A feared legendary swordsman, Minerva possessed the ability to foresee the future and wielded formidable sword skills. According to her own prophecy, Chris was meant to be the one who killed her. However, the mark on Chris altered fate, and instead of dying by his hand, Minerva's destiny was changed by his presence.
