A man who performs exorcisms on the side encounters a thread goblin seeking help to locate his younger brother, known as the Forest Keeper. He agrees to the task under the condition that his own wish be fulfilled. As the search progresses, events begin to mirror memories from his childhood. In the absence of the Forest Keeper, the barriers between the underworld and the living world weaken, allowing malevolent spirits to increase in number and spread across the earth.
