A 27-year-old woman named So Yeori can communicate with ghosts, a power she sees as a burden. She avoids acknowledging them, but after moving into a new home, she encounters a ghost who refuses to be ignored. Go Joon, who died three years earlier, longed for companionship in life and still craves it in death. He convinces Yeori to live with him for a year. Both have spent their lives alone, and now they must navigate the challenges and small comforts of sharing a home, despite the boundary between life and death.
