Teenage girls may develop strange and impractical abilities during puberty. These so-called "useless powers" are activated by different emotions and can manifest in odd ways, such as fingers transforming into squid-like limbs, turning into a stuffed animal upon seeing something cute, or making rice balls that erase memories. The original series has been re-released in a single volume titled 1-nen 1-kumi Uchi no Class no Joshi ga Yabai, coinciding with the physical release of its sequel.
