Shuka, a princess from the red-summer kingdom, was raised in isolation within the palace. As she nears her fifteenth birthday, her father and brothers die from a sudden illness, forcing the kingdom to seek a new ruler. With Zen, a military officer and her retainer, Shuka must take on the responsibilities of a role she is unfamiliar with.
