A long conflict between East and West has seen the use of both modern weapons and supernatural forces, with Western technology gaining the upper hand. Rain Lantz, an Eastern soldier, discovers silver bullets that erase their victims from history. He encounters the bullets' maker, a being known as Air, who demands his freedom in exchange for continued use of the bullets' power.
