Umi no Cradle

A manga by Nagano Mei, this story is set during the Industrial Revolution in England. Monica, a young woman who worked as a nursemaid for a child named Evan from a wealthy family, loses her position after the child’s ship disappears. A year later, while visiting what she believes is Evan’s grave, she encounters the boy alive. Convinced to take him away from his current situation, Monica decides to kidnap him and flee with him aboard a ship.
