Yumiko and Tokita are high school students dealing with difficult home lives. Yumiko is burdened by her father's mental illness, her brother's addiction, and her mother's obsession with social image. Tokita, coming from a wealthy background, endures physical and emotional abuse from his father. Their shared desire is to find a way out of their painful realities.
