Issei Uno is a high school student adjusting to life with his mother's new husband, Masaru. Masaru is a unicorn who alternates between appearing as a human and a talking horse. He is committed to managing the household and building a relationship with Issei while his wife is away. The story explores their dynamic as Issei helps Masaru learn how to be a father.
