Bryn enters the Archangel gallery, determined to showcase her work despite a difficult history with the place. After earning a degree in art, she has struggled to find success, with galleries repeatedly rejecting her paintings. This exhibition may be her final opportunity, but she has avoided Archangel because her father once committed fraud there. Her father's deception led to his imprisonment, orchestrated by Gabriel, one of the gallery’s owners, who was also Bryn’s former love interest. To distance herself from the past, Bryn has changed her name, hoping no one will recognize her. She believes her new identity will allow her to pursue her career without interference. However, uncertainty remains about whether her plan will succeed.
