Urasaki has difficulty expressing her emotions, while her classmate Omoteno is open and direct about his. Sitting next to each other, Urasaki becomes increasingly flustered by Omoteno's candid displays of affection, struggling to find a way to convey her own feelings. The story explores their interactions as they navigate the challenges of communicating emotions in different ways. Originally published as one-shots in *Dragon Age Extra* from September 2018 to September 2019, the series began its official run in *Young Dragon Age* on December 26, 2019.
