Two 15-year-old girls, Ami and Noa, have spent their entire lives competing for the same boys, only to scare them away and remain without boyfriends. At a party, they each develop feelings for different guys—Ami for Tamon and Noa for Hiro. However, Ami soon realizes that Tamon and Hiro are not genuine but are instead scheming players engaged in what they call "a harmless love game." Determined to protect Noa and win Tamon for herself, Ami sets out for revenge. Mika, Tamon's ex-girlfriend, and Miyamura, an unusual teacher, also become involved, working to disrupt Ami and Noa's efforts.
