Urushi Uruhashi
うるしうるはし
A high school senior interested in becoming a lacquerware artisan receives a task from his grandfather to make an item while considering its future user. Struggling with how to approach the challenge, he meets a woman employed at a ryokan. As he begins to work on his piece, genuine feelings emerge between the young man and the woman. Despite initial difficulties, his persistence and commitment to his craft gradually become evident.
