During the final day of school, 14-year-old Ichika Tachibana is assigned to clean a large mirror. While scrubbing it, a girl named Manatsu appears and requests help with homework, inadvertently giving Ichika magical abilities for the summer. However, these powers have consequences, and by the end of the season, both girls will come to understand them.
