In ancient Greece, where women were not allowed to go outside alone, Erinna is a girl who wants to become a poet. She is mentored by Sappho, a renowned poet of the time, and chooses to focus on poetry and music over traditional feminine duties. Erinna and her friends are preparing for a choir competition set to take place in the spring. The story follows her experiences at a girls’ school alongside her best friend and older classmates.
