A kingdom once maintained peace through a central ruler and the songs of village singers, who passed their power from mother to daughter. By royal decree, these singers were confined in towers, required to sing lullabies endlessly. Villages that lost their song faced destruction. The siblings Kain and Maria have a mother who is one of these singers. Upon learning of the village's use of the singers, Kain seeks to shield his sister Maria from the same fate. The one-shot Darika is included.
