美しき死体
A darkly humorous and surreal story follows investigators who discover a dead woman's body and instead of focusing on the crime, engage in a conversation about her physical appearance, the groceries near her, the quality of the lighting, and the artistic potential of photographing the scene. The narrative emphasizes the absurdity of their priorities, shifting attention away from the death itself toward aesthetic considerations. Originally published in three issues of Monthly Manga Garo in 1982.
