Uwagaki

Terui Chiaki recognizes that her classmate Ajikawa Yoshio is infatuated with her, but she finds him unsuitable and already has a boyfriend. Their teacher, Mr. Yamada, observes this dynamic and proposes an unusual experiment. Using his ability to create copies of people and objects, he duplicates Chiaki, producing a version named Koaki who is unaware of her original's relationship. Yoshio is instructed to pursue Koaki, with the plan that after a set period, the copied and original versions of Chiaki will be merged. The emotions that have developed during the experiment will determine which romantic connection—between the current boyfriend or Yoshio—will dominate. As the experiment unfolds, both Chiaki and Koaki initially dismiss Yoshio's advances, but over time, unexpected emotions begin to emerge.
