Violet and Gilbert have begun to rebuild their relationship since reuniting. However, their demanding roles—Violet as an Auto Memory Doll and Gilbert as a Colonel—make it difficult for them to spend time together. As the C. H Postal Company experiences changes, Violet travels to Alfine, a city known as the place of dreamers, continuing her work as an Auto Memory Doll.
