A magical biologist specializing in creatures capable of using magic saves a man named Ammolite after he is attacked by a magical creature called the Jewel Beetle. To retrieve the memories taken from Ammolite by the Jewel Beetle, the biologist and Ammolite begin a journey to track down the creature.
