Apple Arden, a noblewoman, is required to compete in the Crown Princess Audition. A mysterious girl named Rose appears at their home, seeking to join the Viscount Arden family through adoption to qualify for the same selection process. When that fails, Rose offers to purchase the family’s right to participate. The family agrees to her offer, and Apple observes unusual behavior from everyone since Rose's arrival. Despite this, Apple becomes Rose’s lady-in-waiting and decides to take part in the auditions to support her. The reason behind the family’s odd conduct remains unclear.
