Wataru ga Pyun!

A student from Okinawa transfers to Towadai Middle School, a typical school in a different region. The student, Wataru, is a talented athlete but has a history of behavioral issues, leading to frequent school changes. Though he initially joins the baseball team for fun, he is strongly encouraged to stay and eventually declines at first. His perspective shifts after developing feelings for Seki Wakaba, the team's manager. The story follows Wataru and his teammates as they compete in local tournaments and later at the national level. The manga takes place over one summer but spans 20 years, comprising approximately 58 volumes. The author incorporates numerous Okinawan terms, distinguishing it as a unique baseball story.
