Watashi no Mura

Ayu, a former college student who once visited Mizusawa Village in Kitakyushu and became enamored with it, resigns from her job to support the village's resistance against a proposed dam. The comic follows her efforts alongside Hatada, a councilor who vows to revitalize the village using compensation funds from the dam project, Seito, an enigmatic man, and Ryuko, Ayu's childhood friend who has married into the village. The story explores themes of personal growth, human connections, and the emotional highs and lows of the community's struggle.
