Takaku Choua is drawn to Hazuki Shinohara, the attractive girl who sits beside him. He feels distant from her, believing she leads a self-contained, beautiful life. Meanwhile, Hazuki struggles with a communication disorder that makes it difficult for her to interact with others. She hopes Takaku will reach out so she can learn more about him. Despite their mutual interest, the two face a challenge in expressing their feelings, as they are unable to share even a fraction of what they feel for each other.
