Belle Epoque City is plagued by monsters known as "Freaks," leading to increased crime and social unrest. In response, a program called "Black Grims" was established, employing criminal Freaks to combat other criminals. A young wolf-like individual and his disciplined supervisor, Ayane, are part of this initiative. They focus on defending civilians, particularly women, from the threats posed by the Freaks in the city.
