Yan Zi Ying is a part-time hunter driven by a strong sense of justice, working to uphold balance between devils and humans. The hunter headquarters informs her grandfather that a seal is about to break. To prevent this, Zi Ying and a parrot named Xiu Shou head to the home of Yu Wen Hao, the devil leader and a vampire, with the goal of seizing a sacred book. They anticipate resistance, as Yu Wen Hao is not expected to hand it over without a fight.
