Yajuu Kanojo

A boy named Naruse, who is drawn to beauty, becomes interested in Misuzu, but when he asks her out, she transforms into a beast. In a related story, Riku is seen as a beast by Misuzu, and she must find a way to deal with this. Another narrative follows Hana and Souta, who were once close in height, but now attend high school with Souta being the taller and more popular one, leading to a growing distance between them. A basketball player named Leona, who is androgynous, rejects a confession from a younger student, Kenta, believing he assumed she was gay. Kenta remains persistent, and Leona begins to see a possible link between him and a crush she had in the past. In another story, a boy named Satoru moves to Okinawa and seeks excitement in his new, dull environment. Lastly, a character named Maa-kun is tormented by a demon visible only to him and must find a way to eliminate it.
