Across Japan, traditional pottery is appearing with distinctive styles, crafted by individuals known as the Yakimon. Endou Clay, a university student, steps in to manage the "Homura Pottery House" in place of his absent father. There, he meets four distinct individuals—Imari, Bizen, Kutani, and Mino—collectively called the Yakimon. They seem to test him at every turn, yet Clay remains determined to restore the former glory of pottery. His path, however, is filled with obstacles.
