Urara is an unremarkable high school student whose fondness for cats is matched only by their attachment to her. Looking for a moment of comfort away from the demands of school life, she heads to a quiet refuge of hers where stray felines gather and let her dote on them. The peaceful escape is interrupted when Hyuuga Izumi, a battered young delinquent stained with blood, suddenly appears and makes an unexpected request: he wants her to recognise him as a master of cats and accept him as her disciple. The encounter pulls Urara into an unlikely arrangement with a rough newcomer whose intentions seem at odds with the gentle hobby that defines her days, sparking the start of a peculiar dynamic between the two.
