In the sweltering summer of a cram school dormitory, Gwang-Tae lives a withdrawn life, disconnected from the world. His routine is disrupted when Bo-Ae arrives, a girl who yearns to be part of the world around her. As the heat intensifies, the quiet and unchanging existence of Gwang-Tae begins to shift in the presence of Bo-Ae.
