Lim Seongshik, an experienced service-industry worker, finds himself in a dark BL novel as Elliot Brown, a minor antagonist destined to die. In the original plot, all characters are killed by the protagonist, Arzen Theron. To survive, Elliot hides his identity as a former writer and tries to avoid the event that leads to his death: writing a love letter. However, circumstances push him into a role as Arzen’s personal attendant. His secret is discovered by the story’s original love interest, and he is forced to write letters again—this time for Arzen. The Arzen he encounters, however, is different from the cruel character in the original story. As he continues to write, Elliot questions whether the events are unfolding as before or if the story is beginning to change.
