In 15th century Korea, a princess was hidden in plain sight as her deceased twin brother by her mother. She rose to power as a male monarch, ruling as king. When her secret was uncovered, she was condemned to die by poison. The narrative explores the life of this overlooked ruler during her time on the throne.
