A college student named Hana, who lacks direction and drive, encounters a striking woman called Yoiko, who identifies herself as a vengeful spirit and informs Hana that she is cursed and will die. To break the curse, Hana must uncover the truth about Yoiko, with the only lead being a painting covered in soot. As Hana delves deeper into Yoiko's past, she becomes increasingly drawn to Yoiko's enchanting presence.
