A young woman who owns a horse farm attends a high-society event at a racecourse in an effort to secure an investor for her business. Uncomfortable in a formal setting and dressed in an unfamiliar style, she navigates the social scene to fulfill her goal. Her mother's debt motivates her to succeed. She encounters a man named Jack, who expresses interest in investing. Unbeknownst to her, he plans to visit her farm in person. Their time together on the farm brings them into close proximity.
