Yorukumo

A society is divided into three tiers: the wealthy in the Town, the poor in the Fields, and those in the dark Forest. In the Fields, Kiyoko works at a restaurant to support her mother by preparing meals. A regular customer, Tanaka, asks her to deliver food to an assassin named Yorukumo from the Forest. Yorukumo was raised in the Forest, stripped of emotions, unable to feel pain, and taught neither to read nor write. He performs his assassin tasks without difficulty. As Kiyoko and Yorukumo interact, the structure of their world begins to shift.
