Tsuguto Sumihara, once overly kind, died in a bus accident after being pressured to give up his seat and was reborn in a mining camp. The mine lies at the foot of an impossibly high tower. There, he meets Loulier, a horned girl and his first friend in this strange world. When she faces bullying, Tsuguto discovers he may have retained some abilities from his past life. To survive and adapt to this unfamiliar place, he realizes Loulier could be the ally he needs.
