Youkai Hunter: Yami no Kyakujin

A professor of archeology, Hieda-sensei strongly believes in the reality of supernatural beings, though his claims remain unproven, earning him ridicule from peers. Two men from Ootori-chou visit him, seeking to revive their town’s century-old "Demon Festival" as a tourist attraction, using his research but altering some elements for spectacle. Despite concerns about the festival's deadly past, Hieda agrees to advise them. The event, however, turns out to be far more authentic than expected, forcing Hieda to use his knowledge and bravery to resolve the situation.
