Yuki no Onna

Two soldiers are stranded during a severe storm when a pale, snow-white woman appears and sings in the freezing cold. She kills one and spares the other, demanding a promise in return. Sakai, the survivor, is unaware that he has just encountered love and set fate into motion. He does not realize that his life and that of his family will become entangled in an inescapable cycle linked to the snow. The story includes a version of Yuki no Onna, adapted from Yukionna, which received the 6th Kono Manga ga Sugoi award, along with another tale.
