Yuki no Yousei

A renowned wildlife photographer travels to Hokkaido to capture images of the mysterious "snow fairies" but becomes trapped in a snowstorm. Rescued and invited to stay with a local farmer named Haruki during the winter, the two men find themselves in close quarters. The photographer, a polished and sociable city dweller, contrasts sharply with Haruki’s rural, reserved nature. As Haruki becomes curious about photography, the photographer helps him learn. In turn, Haruki begins taking photos of the photographer, who becomes an unexpected subject. Over the course of the winter, their time together brings them closer. The arrival of spring raises questions about what comes next.
