Yukichi Fukuzawa

During the Meiji Restoration at the close of the Edo period, Yukichi Fukuzawa established schools and authored books centered on the belief that education would drive Japan's transformation. He aimed to build the foundation of modern education to foster a society where equality exists and individuals can freely voice their thoughts.
