In 1884 Tokyo, Genemon Sakuragi seeks a "man of valor" as instructed by his master. One evening, he witnesses a young man named Fuutaro Yukimura fight three assailants. Impressed by Yukimura’s unique fighting style, Genemon becomes intrigued. Questions arise about the martial art Yukimura uses and an upcoming exhibition match organized by Marquis Tenzen Shibahara. The story explores the search for the most powerful unarmed martial art of the time.
