Shoko is a member of the school brass band but suffers from severe stage fright. To avoid performing in the spotlight, she plays the contrabass, allowing her to stay hidden during performances. Her junior bandmate, Chiyoko, asks her to perform a duet on stage during the school festival. Chiyoko joined the band after seeing Shoko play, and Shoko doesn’t want to let her down. Despite her reluctance, Shoko faces the challenge, though her fear makes it difficult to stay calm.
