Tsukiko pursues Hime-chan but is repeatedly turned down in humorous scenarios. Sentani Miharu, an upperclassman, and Kaburagi Yuyu, an underclassman, begin dating, and their parents later marry, leaving Miharu to deal with Yuyu as her new younger sister, leading to awkward and funny moments. A mysterious "Count" becomes infatuated with a first-year student, stealing her first kiss and persistently trying to win her affection despite her resistance. Maya Mikazuki consistently expresses dislike for things she actually enjoys, frustrating Usami-san, who continues to try to befriend her. Sukiko attempts to take Hime-chan on a date, encountering more comedic rejections. The series includes sequels to earlier stories and additional seasonal entries featuring Hime-chan.
