Yuugo Chayama lives in a dilapidated apartment building known as the "Loser Lodge," where he shares basic amenities with other tenants in a structure over seventy years old. The low rent of five thousand yen makes it an affordable option for someone without a job or high school diploma. One day, an angel named Hamuel appears, assigned the task of improving Yuugo's life.
