Leo, a mage, is removed from a group of heroes by Kane, a warrior, due to their inability to work together. After Leo's departure, the group suffers repeated defeats. Kane attempts to have Leo rejoin, but Leo, frustrated by Kane's rude behavior, demands that Kane kneel. Kane's pride is deeply wounded, and when he begins to cry, Leo experiences an unexpected reaction.
