The protagonist is a man who was summoned from another world and defeated the Demon King by sticking to a strategy of simplicity. After expecting to return to his life of constant gaming, he instead ends up in a new world during a battle involving humanoid mechs. A princess from his original world has also followed him and urges him to continue acting as a hero. Despite his reluctance, he agrees to take on this new challenge.
