A troubled and sorrowful warrior named Shizumaru roams the land, driven by a desire to find a demon he cannot remember. Though he is adept in combat, his encounters often end in the deaths of his opponents, something he does not intend but cannot prevent. This pattern continues as he moves from place to place, caught in a cycle of violence and confusion. Hanzo cautions him to cease his actions, warning that if he does not, he risks becoming a demon himself.
