Zankyou

Satoru lives a dull life in a factory town, sharing a building with Segawa, an elderly former Yakuza member. One day, Segawa offers Satoru 5 million yen in exchange for ending his life. Satoru is uncertain, and Segawa senses something troubling within him, leading to a shift in his initial decision. The narrative explores the decay of society and Satoru’s descent into a bleak, unstable reality, driven by a firearm and the money offered.
