Zashiki Warashi no Dairinin

A writer visits a remote inn known as Tono Ryokan, drawn by rumors of a Zashiki-Warashi, a child spirit said to bring fortune. The story centers on Tsukasa, who arrives at the inn with a precocious specter boy who allows him to see apparitions. As strange occurrences unfold, involving a cheerful kappa and a being named Kure, Tsukasa finds himself entangled in events involving various Youkai. The mysterious boy who guides Tsukasa appears to have hidden motives behind his actions.
