Kazumi Yamashita is a Japanese manga artist who debuted in 1980 in <i>Weekly Margaret</i> magazine. She was initially active in shoujo manga magazines, but later moved to the seinen magazine <i>Morning</i>. She gained popularity there with her manga <i>Tensai Yanagisawa Kyouju no Seikatsu</i>, which started serialization in 1988. She is also well-known for her manga <i>Fushigi na Shounen</i> and <i>Land</i>. She received the 25th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize's Grand Prize for <i>Land</i> in 2021.
